Gratitude: Funny IS Sexy

Today I went to see Bridesmaids, hi-larious.  Loved it.  If you are craving a laugh-out-loud flick with heart, this movie will fit the bill.  Kristen Wig and Maya Rudolph are each amazing on their own, and are even better together.  I was especially touched by the ending scene (no, I am not about to ruin the movie for those of you who have not seen it), where Maya and Kristen rock out to one of their favorite songs.  It reminded me of myself and my friends, and how wonderful it is to have the type of people in your life that are not afraid to be silly and look like a fool.  Rather, I find people who are willing to laugh at themselves to be the ones with true strength.  In Bridesmaids' closing scene, Kristen and Maya showed their true strength and beauty, and that funny is sexy.  Kudos to them and a special kudos to the four other leading ladies and the men too!.  But sorry guys, today my gratitude goes out to funny, sexy, strong women!!  Rock on ;)
