Now that I have actually watched the movie, I can now, with complete confidence, sing it’s praises. A beautiful, thoughtful, and poignant film. Gorgeous cinematography, an endearing story, and genuine characters you can’t help but love. And such a marvelous tribute to the Camino de Santiago itself. The Way captures the essence and true spirit of the Camino in every way I’d imagined it would be.
A beauty of a film. Well done, Martin. Well done, supporting cast. Well done, all those behind the scenes. And a handsome standing ovation to the director and creative mind behind it all. Well done, Emilio. Well done.
